Biography

Dr. Jeff Wisotzkey has spent his career at the intersection of science, leadership, and the human moments that shape both. A molecular biologist by training and a storyteller by instinct, Jeff has led and transformed high-impact clinical genomics and molecular diagnostics programs across Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Tennessee. His leadership roles, including Chief Scientific Officer and Clinical Laboratory Director, have placed him on the front lines of crisis, rapid growth, and the quiet pressures leaders rarely talk about.

Jeff is known for making the complex understandable and the overwhelming manageable. His blend of clarity, warmth, and wry humor helps audiences feel seen, grounded, and surprisingly at ease, even when discussing high-stakes science or high-pressure leadership. And as a gigging bass player, he brings the steady presence of someone who knows how to hold a room’s energy without ever needing to be the loudest person on the stage.

He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Houston, completed postdoctoral training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and is board-certified as both a High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Clinical Consultant (CC). Jeff’s work spans scientific publications, clinical trials, and hundreds of invited presentations and keynotes nationwide.

As the author of Instant Credibility and The Quiet Mic Drop and the creator of the SpeakWorth™ leadership brand, Jeff teaches professionals how to lead with presence, communicate with purpose, and navigate pressure with a bit more grace, and a lot more humanity.

When he’s not in the lab or on stage, Jeff continues exploring what makes leadership “stick”: the moments where science meets emotion, strategy meets story, and a single well-timed line, spoken with heart, can lighten the load for everyone in the room.
